“NICE AMBIENCE-GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!!”

This is one of the most upmarket eating experiences going with the price range and taste. Boasts great tapas menus with greatly tasty meats being the main thing...Try their Chapakazi platter as a group and you have all the reasons to revisit. weekends and certain weekday eveings are packed to capacity given the dynamic entertainment menu. bring your wallet or loaded credit card though. Nice location, Great food, wonderful entertainment but matching price...

The food is so-so here and a little overpriced for the quality. I liked the bruschetta, but the French onion soup was over-salted and I couldn't finish it. Also, it took FOREVER to get the check.

“Great music, great food!”

Great food, great music and great atmosphere. A good live band can really add to the atmosphere and charm of a venue and Tamambo seem to have found that balance making a unique dining experience hard to replicate in Nairobi.

“Great appetizers and drinks”

Great place to eat while at the Village market. We ordered a bunch of appetizers - the tuna sashimi, the "kachos", calamari, spicy french fries were all excellent. Their famous dawa drink of course is great. I had a burger which was great and some others got the beet salad which was good too.

Tamambo has a few branches - Karen and Village Market. Westlands has closed. It is good bistro food, with decent drinks inc. cocktails.
