“Nice views in the center of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

KICC provides a nice vantage point for observing the crazy expanse of Nairobi. The views are pretty good (on a clear day you should definitely be able to see Mt. Kenya, but we weren't so lucky). Still, views over the airports, the national park, and the different city neighborhoods are pretty great. There's not much shade at the top (or anything, really - it's just a helipad); we brought a snack (I'm not sure if you're supposed to eat up there but nobody stopped us) and turned it into a great picnic location above the insane mass of humanity that is Nairobi. Use a student ID to get a discount.

“Incredible Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

If you do one thing in Nairobi, it should be to climb Kenyatta Convention Centre. There is not an awful lot to do in Nairobi but i have to say, the views from the top of Kenyatta are amazing, the Ngong Hills, the city itself, Uhuru park etc etc. Really well worth a visit. The interior is shabby, just bypass it completely and head for the lift to the helipad at the top. Wow.

“Nice View”

Good views and the guide that is there really knows his stuff so well worth while. One tip when asked if you are a resident say yes as you get up for 200 ksh rather than 400 ksh - No proof of status asked for or the receipt slip checked.

“Nairobi Sky top”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

I really liked the 360 degree view of Nairobi and its environs from the roof top of the KiCC. Had a marvelous time and found the staff very impressive in the service delivery.

“visit in Nairobi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

I was there. If you have the opportunity, do not miss. It's a splendid landscape. You can view the entire city, each building as a whole. You can guide if you want to visit any particular place, a particular area. You can see the most important buildings such as building of the Prime Minister, City Hall, also you can see park, railway station. You can direct where you're going, where you want to walk. I think for about $ 8 worth it to see the city in its fullness.
