Had the best movie experience of my life with the almost life 3D viewing and not to mention the sound quality , which was simply epic to say the least. The screens are generally larger than the ones that you get in other theaters, which make it even better for the viewer. I got to catch the latest movies at a very fair price. Located in the Central Business District this is a must visit venue when in Nairobi and have time in your hand. IMAX has not seen the last of me.Overall this theater is great i ever seen.

The Imax is a great place to catch a flick both in 2 & 3D. Picture and sound quality is really excellent, you can tell this by the number of people willing to pay about £6 (not including refreshments) for a single ticket. However the management should be made aware that a movie is not really over until all the movie credits (including year of production) have rolled. I am the kind of person who actually likes seeing what songs (and listening to the last few) were in the soundtrack. At the Imax, you won't get the chance to do so. As soon as the last scene fades out the clean up crew invades the hall, looking rather impatient for you to leave. (even though the credits are still rolling). The movie sound is switched off and loud (sometimes ghastly) music is played instead. Although I do understand the need to have the movie hall clean before the next show as soon as possible, this could easily be accomplished if the management invested in some vacuum cleaners rather than the stick brooms they are currently using. I was really disappointed, it really ruined the whole experience.
