I had a two hour break over lunch during a conference in Nairobi and decided to rush over to the restaurant at the Aero Club of East Africa. It was a pleasant surprise. Filled with history, decorated with aviation memorabilia, the staff were pleasant and efficient, more so when I mentioned that I had a tight time line. My meal was the special of the day, and I was surprised and delighted to be served three hugh crab claws with an excellent sauce, and the bill was great value for money.
It was well worth braving Nairobi's traffic for the experience.
