Full of all the high end shops & cafes with individual boutiques selling everything you could possibly want.
Good security & plenty of parking but bring your wallet
The mall was very big and there are a lot of shops in it. The Nakumatt over there had a huge variety of things.
This is a very pleasant place to shop, eat & meet with people. It is very pleasing to the eye and a comfortable place to visit. Good stores, nice layout, great food places, Artcafe is wonderful. Definitely worth a visit should you find yourself in Nairobi.
When I was getting a little tired of the chaos of Nairobi, Westgate Mall was a great little oasis to enjoy clean, calm corridors and nice cafes and restaurants. A central atrium lights up the centre, with several floors of shops easily accessed via the stairs, elevators or lifts. With a Nakumut supermarket on site, the Mall was a great place to relax over a coffee for a couple of hours, then stock up on supplies. I didn't use it, but there seemed to be ample parking out the front, or secure parking underneath the Mall.
The Dormans kiosk on the ground floor was excellent, as was the Artcaffe booth on the first floor. For a proper sit-down meal, there was the Artcaffe on the ground floor.
Security guards man the doors and roam the floors, so you can expect a hassle free time at Westgate. A good place to know about when visiting Nairobi.
