Ended up here after a flight cancellation, decent hotel an restaurant, however not quite up to required standard. Very hard beds, small bathrooms and non existent shower ( but sit down bathtub), choose a bother alternative if available, but ok if your flight is cancelled.

Stayed for four nights when on a producer journey with Fairtrade Sweden in May 2015. We where told the Kenyan branch of The Red Cross owned 40 percent of the shares which felt good as the hotel is so luxurious and the purpose with our visit was to meet a lot of rather poor workers at flower farms and coffee growers at cooperatives.
A lovely stay with very nice breakfasts and two restaurants which made it possible to choose the amount of money you wanted to spend on your dinner.

We stayed here as a stopover on our way back from a trip to Madagascar. The hotel was spotless, the bar was very nice and the room was delightful. Would really recommend this for a night of luxury, it was handy for the airport and not too far from Nairobi. We met a nice taxi driver at the airport, he dropped us off here, then collected us and took us to Carnivore, a restaurant in Nairobi and picked us up later in the evening. I really recommend Carnivore too, there were monkeys climbing in the trees, the food was great and if you go, make sure you have a couple of Dawa from the good Doctor!! We were only in Nairobi over night but we had a great time.

Everything was attractive starting from the reception to the hotel room. The rooms are well fitted with the current state of the art facilities the television is a sleek touchscreen. Their employees do their work with passion and utmost respect. Security is well taken care of. This place is actually on top of all.

I have stayed at different hotels in various countries, and The Boma Nairobi has been one of the best. The accommodations are to par in comparison to other similar hotels in terms of cleanliness and comfort level. Do not take this wrong. This does not mean that the rooms were not clean, ample, comfortable and nice, since they were very much so. However, what was better than most was the staff. They all were very nice, polite, cooperative and very efficient at their jobs. They made me feel like I was part of their family. As a plus, this hotel was conveniently located very close to the place where I made my business.
I will definitely stay at the Boma Nairobi when I return to Kenya.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped (no ironing), complimentary slippers and bath robe. Good beds, great pillows of different thickness and consistency. Good black-out curtains. The view is not that spectacular and the only sight seeing close by is Nairobi National Park, where you can do safari (no elephants).
Hotel staff is wonderful and really helpful. I liked the food, great breakfast buffet with plenty of choice and good coffee. It has (paid) shuttle service from and to the airport (15 minutes with no traffic) and also provides safe and reliable taxi services.
This is an expensive hotel, I was there for a conference (great conference center by the way), I don'r know if I'd be able to pay for it from my own pocket.
