“Statatue at City centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Tha statue is amazing and a must see since it is at the heart of the city centre. It reminds us of an important piece of history. Kenya has come a long way fighting for democracy. Tom Mboya was a real hero in the Kenyan politics which todays leaders needs to emulate. The monument being near where Tom Mboya was assasinated reminds us of our very long path to freedom.

It is an honor to the LAte Tom mboya was assasinated...it is quite a magnificent status tho is has started being vandalised..a local football club usually uses it as a meeting point before and after their matches. It quite a monument especially for art lovers and monument

Its awesome we appreciate and commemorate the heroism and dedication of tom mboya. I simply think its on the wrong street. They could have picked a spot on his street. Reason I gave it an average rating

“Artistic monument”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Great piece of Art work adding onto Nairobi's rich historical heritage attractions. Best day to wander around town is on a Sunday, less traffic both vehicles and people.

Great historical figure of our historical heritage. A must visit

“Great Piece of Art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

A statue of a Kenyan fallen Hero from Nyanza, who was among the leaders spearheading for the independence of Kenya. It has a water fountain and a local football team known as Gor Mahia even use it as their shrine. They visit the statue to give thanks each time they win a match. They bath with the water as a sign of receiving blessings from their father, Tom Mboya.
