the museum has nothing worth seeing. very avg. the ticket is 800 shillings. just two floors and yu finish it less than half hr
Green grass, nice slopping hills, 2 restaurants, great museum, all good reasons why the museum is a great place to hang out.
Worth going to see the snake park, i found the museum a little boring, but that was mainly because there were lots of school groups who were running around.
How can you miss seeing Lucy and Tarkana boy? The rest of the museum was also interesting especially the anthropology/cultural and Kenyan history sections although Joy Adamson's pictures were not on display when we visited. The museum has been recently redone and is beautiful. I overheard parts of one of the museum guide's talk, but did not join, because I had a limited amount of time and had priorities.
the place had really improved and there seems to be more order than a few years ago, also the eating places are ok though on the expensive side, you need to have a little tuck shop or something for students and others who cannot afford to eat at the cafes....food for though
