“Go early see lots, go late see little”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Basically most who want to go to the Nairobi National Park want to see lions, and there are lots of lions there to see, but they hunt at night and sleep by day, so if you want to see them be at the park gate by 0600 and enter with the early birds.... If you sleep in and don't get there until 0900 most likely the lions will be asleep under some bush.

“Worthwhile early or late drive.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

The park is on Nairobi's door, and if you are not on safari extensively, offers another chance to be with animals. Stay south of the city (we recommend African Heritage House!!!) to minimize Nairobi's traffic. Don't miss the adjoining Elephant Orphanage.
