“4th of July”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

This was my first safari and I was amazed at how close this park was from the city!! Full of so many wild animals yet in some parts the Nairobi sky line was visible! Days earlier the driver of the tuk tuk on the city tour offered to drive us to the park! That was hilarious! Imagine being on a safari in a tuk tuk!!

“Great way to start or end a trip to Kenya”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Pleasantly surprised by the variety of wildlife. Stayed at the Nairobi Tented Camp which is the only camp in the Park. It was great

“Awesome getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

This park is quite amazing. OK, it's not like Amboseli, Mara or Tsavo but if you're in the city it gives an amazing feel. You're quiet close to the city however it gives the feeling as if you're very far away. Beautiful serene landscapes and of course a lot of wildlife. There's a nice walk that can be done at Hippo Pools. Would definitely recommend this park if you have limited time in Kenya.

“Good introduction!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

I visited the Nairobi NP on my first day in Kenya before leaving for an 8 day safari. I thought it was quite nice to start off with. The park is not very large but you can find a wide variety of wildlife here and they are quite easy to spot as well.

I wish I would have visited the orphanage too, but sadly there was no time left for this.

“Animals in the park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

The park is very close to the city and the game drive is very interesting. One need to be there very early in the morning to catch the lions as they are going back to the hideouts. However sometimes you will come just across them as they are walking along the roads or just on the roadside having siesta.Other animals are all over in the plains.
