We used Nairobi and the Fairview as a base for our trip to Kenya, Rwanda and Zanzibar. The hotel itself is lovely, with a range of restaurants, nice pool and lovely grounds. The hotel also organised all of our airport transfers (taxi drivers who work for Fairview) plus a trip to the elephant orphanage. We stayed in a First Class room on 3 occasions. On our final visit we were upgraded to an Executive Suite for free. All of the rooms had access to the free wifi. The Executive Suite was the only room with air-conditioning, however the fans provided in the First Class rooms were more than adequate and probably better than having to sleep in airconditioning. We were also able to leave our extra luggage at the hotel while on Safari.
