I stayed at the Fairview Hotel Nairobi before and after going on a Safari and after staying in a 5 star resort in Mombasa in April 2011. I must say with all honesty that the beds and service provided by the Fairview Hotel out ranked the 5 star resort in Mombasa, including their meals. All staff are very well trained and are exceptional in providing service, especially the efficiency of the reception staff. The hotel is magnificient in its colonial structure and garden setting. Whilst the hotel is set up to accommodate business conventions, it was still very suitable for my 10 year old son, especially with the pool right outside our room.
If you are looking for outstanding service, comfort and security, especially after travelling on Kenya's road system, then spoil yourself and stay at the Fairview hotel as you will not be disappointed! Cheers, Norma - Australia
