“Reliably good selection, for a reasonable (if not cheap) price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

It's a bit slow for take-away, and not super cheap, but it has a great range of South Indian and Indian Chinese food that's hard to find elsewhere.

“Good break from Meat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

If you fancy a veg, than look no further. Chowpaty has an interesting range of vegetarian food. The dishes that stand out for me are paneer dishes in particular as well as the szechuan & garlic chips. The poussin chips are dry though.

The naans are lovely!

“Fantastic food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

The place to go for indian/ indo-chinese vegetarian food in Kenya! (Also a branch located in Diamond Plaza which is equally as good).

Food: amazing! can't really go wrong with any dish! Chilli paneer, special garlic chips, veg manchow soup are my all time favourites.

Atmosphere and service could be alot better, however this is much more a family/'your local' type of restaurant where you can get good food guaranteed. Will easily cater for families and larger groups having ample seating capacity although parking is an issue with limited spots at the front of the restaurant.

“Superb Food and Service but a Little Price with Average Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

I love Southern Indian Food and the food was indeed superb. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The menu was very extensive.
I have to say that the service was super efficient and very friendly. Our waiter was a true gentleman.
The location is quite convenient and easy to get to. I live in Kilimani and had no trouble reaching the restaurant thanks to the new improved roads.
However, the food isn't cheap. Furthermore, the nothing special and couldn't be described as romantic. Nonetheless, I'm happy to be able to get superb Southern Indian Cuisine in Nairobi.
