“Surprisingly touching and beautifully done”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Sad to say we did not clearly remember this tragic event. The Kenyans have done a beautiful job with creating this loving memorial who everyone who died or were hurt in this terrorist attack. By far the most touching (not a dry eye in the house) is the 50 minute film (which felt like about 15 minutes). It is a remarkable film about a horrific experience. We highly recommend to everyone but esp. to Americans.

“Worth a stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

This pretty little garden and reserved memorial was very pleasant to visit and gave a nice spot to be calm and reflect on this tragic event. There were a few people enjoying the serenity and sipping on a coffee or cool bottle of water. It cost a couple a couple of dollars but was a nice little place to take a break and chill out whilst on a walk through the city.

“Pleasant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

It cost a couple of EURO to visit. It turned out to be a quiet oasis even though it is situated on the corner of a busy intersection. An informal atmosphere and a good place to meet Nairobeans.

“Pretty little park & museum if you're downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

As an American living in Kenya I passed this park many times walking through downtown Nairobi. After spending more than a year in the country, I finally decided to visit and was glad I did. The park itself is small and is mainly used by Kenyans looking for a place to sit around and relax in downtown Nairobi. It's a nice little space and the entry fee is nominal. The memorial museum is in a small building located in a corner of the park. When I went it was empty, but they have a nice collection of information, testimonials, and artifacts from that sad day. Most of the voices are Kenyan, which is appropriate since they suffered the most (the bomb affected a very busy corner of downtown Nairobi). Definitely worth a short visit if you're in the city center.
