“Cheap and simple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2015

Room was basic but the furnishings and attention to detail that made my first stay here so nice five years ago, have lapsed. Will be looking for an alternative budget hotel in Nairobi in future. The location in Eastleigh , is fine but there is a huge amount of construction work taking place making the roads busy and dusty.

Nomad palace is silent, fairly priced with good food. The staff are great, the rooms good.
The management are vigilant all times. The accommodation manager is servant of guests!
The traffic in Nairobi should not be barrier to stay in Nomad palace hotel.
I have been regular guestfor the last three years. I have never regretted my stay

At the end of a week's safari, this hotel was a refuge of relief. This is a modern hotel with all the amenities, cable TV, thermostat heating/cooling, coffee in room, room safe, high speed WIFI in the room, unlimited hot water etc. Tremendous meals, buffet style, best we had during our 4 weeks in Africa.
High rise hotel located pretty close tot he center of Arusha. I can think of no qualifiers for this hotel. Staff was great.

Room Tip: we had wifi repeaters just out side our rooms. Verify you get this. some rooms are on road side, p...

Dependable airport transfers and a good restaurant are highlights of those mid-range option. The drivers know alternative routes to avoid traffic, demonstrations, etc. the restaurant has vegetarian and unusual camel milk and meat dishes.

Room Tip: 5th floor rooms may be best.

Impressed with its modern design and cleanliness. The hospitality of the staffs are above expectation. The security guards try their very best to keep the customers safe. I was even escorted by one to my room. The only negative thing about this hotel is the location. It is situated in a slum area with high criminal rates. One of our drivers' car was hijacked at this very location. Not safe to walk out. If you're out, it's advisable to return before it gets dark for security reasons.

that was nice place in Nairobi, we didnt have mosquitos and etc. Very please. its not so much cheap but for Africa maybe its ok. Many tourists think that Africa is cheap but even our another hostels costed 27-30 USD. So we decided to pay more but being in some more calm place with more security. Because actually it s very important in Africa. But location is really bad. Especially for europeans.
