Loved this place, the wildlife is awesome. During my visit here I was fortunate enough to see a pride of lions attack a heard of zebras about 30 yards in front of me. The giraffe and elephant orphanages are well worth seeing.
The Karen Blixen Museum: Gorgeous manicured grounds, lovely stepping back into history. Nice combination of real pieces and movie props. The Giraffe Center: a delightful 30 minutes to 1 hour visit. Do not miss if traveling to Nairobi. Feed giraffe out of your hand and feel what it must have been like to live in East Africa in the early 1900s.
Get up close and personal with giraffes. Feed them if you like. The museum is very informative and well laid out.
When do we have the chance to be up close with a giraffe at their height? Well, right here at the giraffe center. Its a lovely experience to be so close to them and to feed the appropriate giraffe food :-)
Saw two male lios at the side of the track only 500 meters inside the park! Ate a delicious lunch in the garden of the Karen Blixen Cafe and fed the giraffes at Giraffe manor
