“Boutique Restaurant in a Boutique Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2012

Moonflower is one of the best restaurants in Nairobi with a fantastic setting and a good choice of non-vegetarian and vegetarian foods.

“Wonderful ambience & great food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011

We all enjoyed our evening. The band was good value, playing easy listening dining music. Great decor. Service top notch. A restaurant of this quality in Australia would charge much much more so we considered our meal good value.

“Relaxed atmosphere and good food"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2010

The Palacina Hotel grounds are beautiful and the restaurant goes well with this. The Palacina interior design is well represented and there is a much space for every guest. I especially enjoy the lower section with the view of the pool and with the tent ceiling. The food is good if not excellent and the staff is nice. The prices are on the high side for Nairobi, but still not expensive by European standards. It is a good night out, nothing more, nothing less.

“Possibly the most expensive restaurant in Nairobi?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2010

Look, the food was nice... the decore is OK... the location reasonable. But the prices are more inflated than a Kenyan MP's ego. We had a nice meal despite reeling from the prices. There are plenty of alternatives if you want TOP quality feed at around half of the prices here. (Tamambo, Le Rustique, Rusty Nail, that Italian place behind Valley Arcade)

The waiting staff also were inattentive, distracted and didn't seem to care about us. This is a different picture to when I went there about 8 years ago.

Having said all that the food was OK.
