Ended up here as hotel of last resort, all others in the area being full. Rooms are OK, 12 channels on the flat screen TV, Bathroom basic but fine. Desk that you can work on. However the a/c unit is one of those portable numbers which isnt really what I expected. Town centre location is convenient if that's what you want but security is evidently an issue - notices in the room, guard on each floor logging all movements etc. There's a basic casino on the ground floor which seems to attract varied clientele. Wireless internet is neither good nor free ($5 for 1hr). Beware paying by Visa: the rate is quoted in USD, charged in Kenya shillings at an exchange rate about 10% above what you get in the bank, and then you get an additional 5% loading for using a credit card.
I might consider coming here again but only if I had to be in the city centre and all others were full.

Sentrim was more expensive ( may be due to location the only positive thing about this hotel)
The rooms were smelly, the cooler (electric fan filled with water) was not working well and was very noisy (they did change it for us but after a lot of negotiations) the breakfast was bad that I just ate pineapple. I'd recommend you do more research before going to this hotel. Value for money is very bad

We stayed 2 days in this hotel and appreciated very much the kindness of the staff and the localization in the city center.
The restaurant of the Hotel is has also very good plates. If you to go for walk from the Hote you go till Market City and many places at center of Nairobi

If you are travelling for business purpose alone then you can explore this hotel. Its located in the central business district. All the Banks are at walking distance from this place. Its value for money hotel. Not a good hotel to stay if you are with family. Rooms here are all Non AC. They provide coolers. Its 100 % safe place to stay. Rooms are clean and well maintained. This hotel has wierd policy of not allowing guest to your room after 6:00 pm. You need to pay 2000 Ksh. Restaurant is good. Hotel lobby is very ordinary. Also this hotel doesnt offer room service. You need to go to restaurant to get glass of water or cup of coffee. Over all good place for ONLY business travellers looking for budget accomodation
