“You simply must visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014 NEW

The Elephant Orphanage from 11am to 12 is a must for anyone and everyone. 500 KES entry fee for the hour watching the orphaned Elephants saved from the wild. I am resident in Kenya and visit at least every 3 or 4 months. An incredible experience.

“Good conservation effort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014 NEW

This is an environmental concept of protecting and reintegrating abandoned elephants to the wild. There is not much to see besides young elephants bottle feeding, horsing around ('elephanting' maybe) or mud bathing. I feel that the opportunity cost is too steep for jet lagged tourists coming all the way from America or Europe to spend 45 minutes watching baby elephants frolic. To include it in the tour schedule one must have plenty of time to spare, laze around or transition. Excellent for children though

“Not to be missed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014 NEW

This was a fun and unique experience. Animals seem to be treated very well, and this presents itself as a thoughtful and ethical facility. Each elephant has a name and a story. It was crowded, but I'd rather that then stress the animals with several smaller groups throughout the day.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014 NEW

Hi
That is the last place i can't miss to take my client's.have been there like 10 time, with my friends and some of my clients.Everyone loves Animals, but seeing the baby Elephants Behaving,is really amazing.
Remember you can't touch them easily but you can take a photo on a close range, and they are being Guided 24/7. but the visiting time is Little, you have to be there a bit Earlier. Nice place to Visit During the weekend.
