Zen Garden’s setting is gorgeous and peaceful- once you are in you immediately forget that the restaurant is on a major road.
With two restaurants- one continental and one oriental- there is food for every taste, and they allow guest to order from both restaurants at the same table. The food is good but expensive, some dishes being better than others. My main complain about Zen Garden is the service. While the waiters are nice, service is slow and food comes at random time and is not coordinated, even when everything is ordered from the same restaurant (sushi and pizza tend to take longer than anything else). Last time I went, my boyfriend was serve his starter and main course at the same time, while I was only given my starter and had to wait for quite some time before getting my main course. This affects the dining experience and is something they could easily fix.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, don’t go during the weekend as it is extremely busy, with kids running everywhere. Also, the continental restaurant is closed for dinner.
