I thought the staff were friendly and helpful - a receptionist even lent me her mobile to make an urgent call. Room was attractive with a comfortable bed but the bath was enormous and rather than a door in to bathroom there was a curtain. Just seemed a bit odd and it might depend on who you were sharing with! There was noise from a gym and the pool during the day but it was quiet at night. Restaurant took ages to make food but the waiters were a humorous and obliging bunch and there was a good breakfast spread. Some of the communal areas were very smart but others areas like the stairs / reception were a bit tired looking. I wouldn't necessarily rush back but if found myself back in Nairobi would consider this a safe bet.
