Don't know how old this building is; it is impressive in size but is now suffering severely from poor internal lighting and poor maintenance of facilities.
Take the lift and then climb to the Helicopter pad and you have a great view covering half of Kenya. Better still take one of the complimentary guides and you can be walked through the view from Kilimanjaro to down town Nairobi.
I went with a group and we had a great time walking around the courtyard, viewing the Jomo Kenyatta statue and seeing wonderful views of the city!
The visitors centre is in the conference centre and for a small fee, you can go up the lift and then a few flights of stairs to the observation deck where you have a panoramic view of Nairobi. Only then, can you appreciate just want a sprawling city this is - and just how many people and vehicles are on every road and street. It is well worth a visit to get Nairobi into perspective
A elevator takes 24sec to get you to 27th floor and walk the final three floors of stairs up to the top of KICC,i can find where is my hotel ,which parking place is Masai market , It is great view.
