“Great Garden Setting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

I used it as a venue to meet a few business associates. It's garden setting is very pleasant, and conducive to quiet discussion. A wide variety of snacks and meals are available so you are catered for any time of the day. A well known, out of town location. Will use again!

“Delicious first evening in Kenya”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

As our first night in country this was a real luxury and unexpected find. We had a charming and seriously delicious dinner that was very reasonable in price with such charming service that by the end of the evening as we were sat outside we had four braziers between three of us.

“A pleasant afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We felt very wealthy and pampered. It is Karen at its
most 'white tourist' but we had a lovely lunch.

“Where the Elite Eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Well, I may overstate it a bit in the title, but Sunday lunch here has that old colonial feeling, like everyone who is anyone in town is here a table under the trees or on the porch. The buffet is plentiful and well cooked ... The only time I had properly cooked, not over cooked, fowl at a buffet in Kenya.

Add the proximity to the KB Museum house and this is a great way to spend an afternoon. Cop a suite at he small hotel and life is good.

“Fun Bar and Pretty Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

If you're visiting Nairobi you need to go here - lots of locals prop up the bar to watch interational sport, dining in the gardens is pleasant and the food not bad - pop in after you've done a tour of Karen Blixen House which is a few hundred metres up the road. Also nearby is Kazuri Beads, so you can do all three in a few hours and be very happy!
