I do like YAYA Centre. I've spent many an hour there whilst waiting for friends (who were stuck in the Nairobi traffic lol!). It's well contained with a nice range of stores. The bookstore is well stocked and you could easily spend an hour in there alone looking at the titles. The children's toy shop is very well run and I've had occasions to shop there over the years. If you happen to buying a present for a child in Kenya it's worth a visit (not so much for buying a Kenya gift to take back overseas). It has a nice Java House and a Nakamatt, which is always handy. It's easy to access if you have a car, and has a taxi rank outside, which tends to always have at least five taxis to hand so no waiting. Obviously it is well serviced by matatu also.
