The menu is just the same as ever, this is proper old fashioned french bistro fare; nouvelle or modern cuisine fans look elsewhere. All the old favorites are catered for, excellent oysters, french onion soup, steak diane, confit de canard and crepes suzette. All very well executed, my only criticism is reserved for the gratin dauphinois, where the dauphinois just wasn't 'gratin' enough! Oh and the selection of wine by the glass is very poor - only a very ordinary cask offering.
Even the Irish Coffee had me reminiscing of the old restaurant in Koinange Street.
Recommended with slight reservations.
