The last time I stayed at the Tribe, I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the maintenance, the cooking etc.
Four months later, the room assigned to me (235) had a majority of its lightbulbs non functional, the bedside lamps non-functional, the indirect fluorescent lights on the ceiling and the headboard half-functioning. The desk not very stable for working.
Its bad enough that the decorating lighting system is not conducive to working in the rooms and many of us have to catch the natural light at the bar, adding these deficiencies which only make it more difficult to work privately. The shower controls were only too hot or cold, no lukewarm water. I had to call security to have the room safe working as no one checked whether it was ready for the next guest. At one point, they forgot to place bath towels in the room.
The food has remained good which I am quite happy about.
I hope the management will be able to establish a system of checking the rooms before assigning it to another guest...
