We have frequented the Havana on a number of occasions and with one exception the food served has been excellent - good quality and good value. Moreover, there are a number of dishes on the menu that we have not found on the menus of other Nairobi restaurants. The restaurant is cosy and the music from the adjacent bar is not so noisy that one cannot carry on a reasonable conversation. Also, the service is generally friendly and efficient. However, the wine list is at best only average and the house wine is so sweet as, in our view, to be like lolly water. That would not be so bad if all the wines on the list were available, but on at least three visits to the restaurant the wine we selected was not available. One other shortcoming I should mention is that there never seems to be any water available in the toilet wash basins. But for these deficiencies, we would have given this restaurant a top rating.

You don't go to Havana's to have a crazy club experience. It's a bar with good food, a little pricy. Fun for a few friends to go get drinks or eat and watch a football match. Later in the night, Crooked Q's above can get a little rowdy. Use Havana's as a starter for nightlife. It's in the heart of the westlands party scene, so it's easy to hop around from there.

They have a hodge-podge combination of south and central American food.

A decent pub with decent food. Plenty of outside seating, which is nice, but inside, both the ground floor and 1st floor, is actually really noisy due to the music, which is odd, as there's not really much of a dance floor. I found sitting inside to be generally fine, but the seating arrangements are not always conducive to groups larger than 4. Certainly not a place to have 'a chat and a quiet drink'. Staff are nice and helpful, and the food is OK. It's definitely cheaper than other places like Gypsy's, but the quality isn't amazing. I tried the BBQ Pulled Pork in a bun. It wasn't great, but then again, I am in Nairobi, Kenya.

Must go if you are looking for a busy pub. Fri nights are almost always fully packed. Great place to enjoy your drinks. The menu leaves you wanting for more.
