“Very good place for lunch or to work with you computer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

I often to the one at Nakumatt Junction. I like the outdoor seating, but it also has a very nice indoor. By the way, the one at the Tribe Village is really really nice, but just further away.
Food: I sincerely had one the best pizzas ever in this place. The rest of the food is between ok and good. I did not like the Nicoise salad at all, but that was the only thing I avoid carefully now.
Other than that, it's an excellent place to go if you need to work on your laptop, as there is wi-fi internet and power sockets everywhere, indoor and outdoor.

“Avoid the so called "Creme Brulee" Dessert”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

I ordered a creme brulee , got one, but after i already swallowed 50% of the bowl, I just noticed strange tiny black dot in the cream (like fungus). We spent 20 minutes with 2 managers and 1 waiter giving me 3 different versions... Personally , I think the cream was kept for more than 3 days (creme brulee cannot be used after 3 days even if kept in the fridge) and was almost spoiled... So disappointing when that place was recommended by more that 3 colleagues and the atmosphere is cool...

“Railway Station”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Great almond croissant. Otherwise to be honest better food available at commercial fast food joints and quicker at a fraction of the cost. Cold coffee is unforgivable. I guess its busy because they have a great balconey to see and be seen. If you are a foodie avoid. If you are a socialiser then its nice. Service and food quality dont matter then.

“Becoming overrated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

With its first opening at the Westgate Mall, this became one of the more fashionable coffee meeting places for Nairobi's middle class and expat community because it offered a first world ambiance for the emerging coffee café culture. Still very popular but I have been disappointed in terms of service and food/drinks quality in recent times. They seem to have taken things for granted, probably because the competition (Java Coffee Houses, Dormans,...) now also offers the same rather mediocre fare (mostly fast food, cold coffee, at times not so fresh pastries). There are better, but also worse, places in Nairobi to eat and have coffee.
