Le Rustique is the perfect place to go for a quiet lunch, a chat and a coffee or just for a bite of dessert. Outside seating is done tastefully, he Insides pretty good too. Sunday brunches are worth going for and the kids will have a great time in the play area while the adults catch up on some current affairs.
We went here for brunch and it was amazing. While I like french toast, I don't order it all the time, but here, I will order it again and again...fantastic food and great service.
The food was really tasty and the decor was awesome but the dishes had oil and scum from previous meals firmly encrusted on them. Not nice at all!
We have come for lunch since Maaike opened the doors of her special lunch place. She came up with nice and different menues, yes also great crepes. But the place has it all Lovely location, lush lovely garden, excellent food and yes great service and Maaike is ALWAYS there! Wish her and her team well!. See you next time!

As a Nairobi resident, my friends and I visit Le Rustique every Wednesday evening for dinner. I am amazed that the owner manage to change the the menu every week. Exciting, new dishes, both for vegetarian and carnivores, and not the same, old dishes one experiences in many other restaurants, which have remained the same for years.
The service is friendly, the food is good, and we shall remain patrons of this Nairobi watering hole. A visit to Le Rustique is a must for anyone staying in Nairobi for some time, but a reservation is needed for the weekly Wednesday dinner.
