the food is superb in this small thai resturant in stanley hotel. it is as good as celdon in bangkok the best thai resturant. has a lot of veg options and only negative is shorts or three fourth pants not allowed. but they allowed us as a special case very thankful. food is excellent.

The Thai food was authentic, and the service was attentive. My wife and I enjoyed walking around the historic Stanley Hotel. Eating at the Thai Chi Restaurant is a great escape from downtown Nairobi. Highly recommended although a bit expensive.
The food and service at the Thai Chi combine to provide one of the best Thai foood experiences I have encountered in Africa. The choice is excellent, the staff are Knowledgeable, and very freindly. The food can be spicy, but we ate with a hot food intolerant guest, and even he was able to enjoy the flavours which come through, rather than jsut the heat.
They also have a great wine list - overall expensive, but a great experience.

Good spicy Thai food, just the way i like it. The spicing can however be overdone at some instances and individuals not used to such will have difficulties if its their first visit
try the green papaya salad - its to die for. The staff will guide you in your choices to eat and beleive me - follow their recommendations , you won't be disappointed
