We went here with friends who had been here before and had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. We ordered several different dishes in order to try a variety of tastes and were VERY satisfied. The service was excellent and the ambiance pleasant and relaxing. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Habesha is a very good Ethiopian restaurant with outside sitting, service usually fast. I enjoy going there for quick lunches during the week.

I love Injera and the Ethiopian feast. After the usual expat haunts, I was starved for real African food and atmosphere. The restaurant looks like a residential bungalow after you pass the usual security guards. There are no tables but high woven baskets which hoold the large metal platters. Basic like a decent local guesthouse. Each of the curries was distinct and delicious. As a woman eating alone, they made me feel comfortable and brought my full meal within minutes. When the bill came, I couldn't believe my eyes. A feast with drinks and coffee for well under 20 dollars/francs. A wonderful conclusion to my Nairobi visit.

This is a great restaurant, once you are through the ugly green gate.. It is much bigger than you would expect and has nice seats all around both inside and outside.
We sat outside close to the fire, which our sons loved !

The food is good to excellent, Doro Wat & Zil Zil tibs,the beef which I absolutely loved!!!
Of course great ethiopian coffee and great Kenyan, English and Ethiopian company.
Oh, and as nearly all ethiopians, very good value for money too.
