Good quality African/local food at an affordable price Tasty as well. The athola with brown ugali is to die for is you are a lover of african food. The servings are however not "filling"
It's so popular with locals ! It's a large restaurant, yet, always full! It has a large outdoor area, and live band area. Food is ok, all Kenyan trads, fish is the best. Even some VIP comes here to eat. For grilled fish, veggie, Kenyan crape looking bread and kenyan beer with elephant on it ... All these were $12.
Staff r nice , too. No credit card.

An oasis in the middle of Nairobi. If you want real local food at great prices then go here. They told me the President often stops by lunchtime. I can see why. Lovely food. Try the Mutoke

I ordered ugali and chicken. Was not particularly impressed with the food, however it is a clean place and definitely worth a visit.
