“The worst pizza in Egypt”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

In the premises of the hotel there is the pizzeria The Romance. We had an overpriced, frozen pizza that was the worst I ever had in Egypt, or possible in all my life. The head waiter make some stupid jokes and of course did not get a tip, although service and taxes were already included in the price of the poor cooked food.

Room Tip: Best room are the Nile view.

“Family of Females”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Fabulously placed in the centre of Luxor, rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were amazingly friendly (but not in a creepy way). Stunningly beautiful views of both Nile, Valley of the Kings and the Town, we enjoyed people watching from the comfort of our balconies. For security and economy we booked all our trips through Ali (gave him a wish list, which he organised) also he has the leather bag shop actually in the hotel, we were six women aged between 7 - 58 saved a fortune but also felt safe and were not hassled to any annoying degree. Food was great would recommend the Bar menu for lunch, even the local alcohol was fine. Sabah for manicures, pedicures and henna dyes. Mansour for trinkets and shopping, if he has not got it he will get it. We will be back next year.

“The best hotel in luxor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Just got back from the iberotel in luxor having stayed there four times this year the staff welcome you as soon as you step in to the hotel everybody has always got a friendly smile and a warm welcome nothing is to much trouble at all if you need to go out on a boat have a word with craig david and near the pool on the nile he is so cheap and he makes the best mint tea !!!! Also ali in the bag shop is so friendly and always has a good bargain with his bags and if there is any thing at all you need he will get it for you .The rooms at this hotel are very clean and the view on the nile in the evening is well worth paying the extra for a nile view room . If you want to go out during the day or evening and dont want to be hassled. Ask for salaha for a horse and carriage(Caleche) he is cheap and very very friendly and you wont get any hassle at all with him he will even take you to the markets for all the best bargains. He will even get you any trips you want to go on very cheap !!! You do get hassled when you go out of the hotel but they are only wanting to earn a living but if you dont want it all you have to say is "La shukran" this means no thank you they will leave you alone then. The staff in the resturant as very good and also the bar staff as well . The entertainment in the hotel is a man on keyboard every night from 8-12pm if you like that kind of thing and there is also a pool table.I have to say the Egyptian are very friendly people . The food in the hotel is a mix of traditional egyptian food and also english food. All in all I have to say the Iberotel is ideally the best hotel over looking the nile and you get the best sunset views ever I will be going back to the iberotel in January 2013

Room Tip: Well worth booking a nile view room to also see the sunset fantastic
