“Amazing hotel and amazing people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

We went there on september 2013 , we were the only italian tourists there because of the clashes which occurred in Cairo in that days. We met some canadians tourists, 3 or 4.
The hotel is beautiful, big and with an amazing view on the fields from the balconies near the doors of the rooms. There is a big pool where you can relax .
Our room was spacious and with tv,balcony and a very clean bathroom and naturally the air conditioning . When we went there the kitchen wasn't available ,probably due to the low amount of tourist in that period in Egypt, but they prepared anyway amazing breakfast and personalized sandwiches !! :)
. If you want to eat outside just on the other side of the street you will find a kfc, and a supermarket in the nearby area.
I really suggest you to visit this place also because the workers inside are very kind and ALWAYS ready to give you an hand ! We took a picture all together :) ! I have beautiful memories of this hotel.
The hotel organizes also some private tours to the main attractions of the area.
Can't wait to come back. Highly reccomended

We were booked in this hotel by our tour operator for a one night stopover before joining a Nile cruise. The hotel is dingy with peeling wallpaper and dirty paint. Our rooms were filthy. There were no top sheets on the beds - just a sheet over the mattress and a dirty blanket! The bathroom was disgusting. As we arrived after midnight, there was no alternative, so we stayed awake in our rooms until daybreak. The breakfast room was dirty and there was a tray of cold meat that had already discoloured and started curling at the edges. An unbelievably terrible place.

Enjoyed my stay here immensely.

The rooms were clean and large with freezing aircon. Bathrooms were clean and there was soft toilet paper (a rare commodity in Egypt)!

The restaurant was great. A 3-course dinner for 30LE was GREAT value & the serving staff were friendly. Breakfast was in a restaurant by the pool & there was a good choice of foods (much better than the usual egg, rolls & cheese everywhere else in Egypt).

King Dudes Bar was great for drinks. 2 cocktails for the price of one & lots of funny names for them. There was a disco but I gave this a miss & can't say I heard any noise from my room.

Hotel has a pool & nice area to lounge about with a beer after a day in the 40c heat!

Location is good. A nice walk to the centre of Luxor. Lots of tourist shops but head down the side streets and go into local shops. Plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk.

Mostafa, who runs the small convenience shop & gift shop at the front of the hotel was the nicest person I met in Egypt! So friendly, happy to tell you about Egypt & won't rip you off in his gift store.

Best of all - Gaddis is super cheap!

The hotel is close to Luxor temple. The staff is polite. Not that clean. Most of the rooms never renovated, sink stacked, no hot water in some rooms, most of the things in the bathroom damaged, the air conditioning device was getting out smoke.
