I returned for the 3rd time to the Sound and Light show, it hadn't changed. It is so atmospheric and this is how I like my history ~ up close and personal. Standing in the temple at Thebes in the dark, with a view across the Nile to the Valley of the Kings.."any lights on the hillside mean the embalmers are at work". Amazing historical site. Narrative is unexpectedly Disney (Judi Dench booming through the Luxor night) but it does say "Sound and Light". It captivated me for a third time and I was pleased to have gone again. Its only an hour. A mongrel dog, perched on top of a stone Pharoah, howling at the stars, added to the experience..Many thought it part of the show. (it wasn't).
