My husband and myself booked in that Hotel few days before our arrival to Egypt ,we contacted the reception staff many times to confirm our arrival on that specific day and they reassured us that our room is confirmed.
Upon our arrival at 1 o'clock after midnight ,we were shocked to know that our booking has been cancelled ,after a long day of travel we were so exhausted and couldn't believe it ,we argued for about half an hour that there must be a mistake ,eventually they gave us a very small room at a weird corner of the hotel.
We went to the room to spend the night ,and we were so shocked for a second time to see that it was a pig sty not a hotel room,upon entering the room ,the carpet was extremely filthy and dusty,the bathroom sink was disgusting and blocked ,the sheets on the bed were not changed from previous customers,we were so angry and cross and called the manager ,who apologised and asked the sheets to be changed,but the whole situation was unacceptable,and we couldn't even sit on the chair of the room because everything was so filthy .
When dawn appeared we decided to leave and move to a different respectable hottel ,however apologises were made but there was no way we could stay in that fake hotel and we could not recommend it to anybody ,also we had to pay 650 Egyptian pounds for that disasterous night ,which they really don't deserve to take that same amount of money that other luxurious hotels in Cairo would charge .
A whole day of our holiday was ruined because of that nightmare.
It's a pity I cannot say any positive opinion for that hotel,it was a very bad experience.
Please don't trust that Hotel.
