You mean (الجمعية الجغرافية المصرية) "Egyptian Geographical Society" or EGS????. Its Museum is called the "Ethnographic Museum of EGS". It's located inside the Shoura Council complex on the other side of Tahrir square across from Egyptian Museum at Qasr elAini Str. It's almost unknown and inaccessible to most people and I've never seen tourists there... not even foreign academics although I am sure some have.
The building itself in about century and half old reflecting Sultanic vigour of Egypt at the time reaching it out for its African origins.
The Museum is having some very interesting collections of the time and is in a bad maintenance. But for those who like history of Cairo and Egypt at the time will be happy to see some of the historical tools that we Egyptians stopped using expect in proverbs :)
