Don't like to bad mouth this place but it is what it is. I booked for a weeks business trip to this area but had to give up and check out after a few days stay. It is a basic 2 or 3 star hotel at most. I could have survived but for three things, power cuts, really poor Internet service and the prayer calls from the adjacent mosque wakening you pre dawn.

The rooms are small but liveable. Entertainment is only terrestrial egyptian tv. The bathrooms are quite small with very low pressure shower. The place is reasonably clean by Egypt standards but this is view of regular traveller who has seen a lot of hotels. So if you have high expectations you may be disappointed.

Internet is main bugbear as far as trying to work from this hotel goes. It is very slow speed, not high speed at all, as advertised. It continually goes down and regular trips up and down to rectify enlightens you to how many times the room key malfunctions resulting in further expeditions to reception via the ponderous elevator.

It is very difficult to avoid the call from prayers from the mosque are they are blasted out on loudspeakers a few metres from your window on the front of the hotel. Obviously no complaint about that but it is only fair that guests should perhaps be made aware of this fact prior to booking or even before room allocation.

If this hotel wasn't already a little bit pricey it would be ideal for backpackers prepared to use nearby Internet cares to Facebook and web surfing etc. That should be its target market. Tourists and business visitors will be disappointed.

This place is the absolutely worst hotel you can choose. The rooms are small, dirty, unkept. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The location is bad. The price is absurdly high for this kind of dump. They should practically be paying you to live here! You just don't don't want to come here!
There are many better options for this price.

Room Tip: There is no good room. So theres really no question here.

On the face of it, and from the website - this looks like a reasonable place to stay.
But be warned, the rooms are small, and they seem to be just on the "reasonable" scale, just doing enough to not be in the "terrible" category.
The breakfast is a joke, a free for all/scrum, where the coffee provided consists of an urn of hot water, and a plate of nescafe granules, with another plate of sugar.
The swimming pool was, of course, closed for re-furb, nothing on the website to indicate this.
The hotel is directly opposite a mosque, so if in a front facing room, you will be woken at 03:00 with the call to prayer.
Staff are reasonably helpful, but with little engish, any difficult request is likely to be ignored, or not dealt with satisfactorily.
In a nutshell - find somewhere else.

Room Tip: at the back of the hotel, not facing the mosque.

It is the worst hotel or actually motel i ever been.
Old and dirty rooms and odor allover the room.
Hot bathroom water is optional depending in your room lucky choice.

If you want to have a stomach ache just order from the restaurant associated.

I was here for a couple of weeks, unfortunately I have to agree with most of the comments of others. Breakfast was poor, but there is a great Lebanese restaurant two minutes walk to the right where we ate every day. We did not eat in the hotel in the evenings either, there are three restaurants on the water front five minutes walk away, and a Thai 3 minutes walk to the rear.
Rooms were OK and there was some serious refurbishment going on during our stay.
