“Bang right next to the Pyramids!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2012

You cannot get more centric than this! We stayed at this wonderful place on the night of the 31st 2011. Free viewing of the Sound and Light Show from the Balcony. More importantly, you get ready and walk to the Pyramids! Was amazing. And Samy, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful to arrange any tours as needed. Rooms are clean and kitchen can be made use of. Plenty of super markets, restaurants and very good Koshor and Falafel fast foods around. Place to be put up at - if visiting the Giza pyramids along with tours of Dashour and Saqqara are in your itinerary...

A magical place surrounded by the lustres of Egyptian culture. Stunning views of the Pyramids & Sphinx on the rooftop with beautiful backdrops of bright blue skies, golden sunsets or a night sky twinkling with stars. The opportunity to see the sound & light show without all the hustle & bustle is great! Samy can organise a variety of activities such as camel riding. He’s very approachable and always willing to help with a beaming smile. An experience I will treasure forever!

The Pyramids View Inn is literally on the doorstep of the Giza Plateau & has a roof terrace from where you have a majestic view of the Pyramids & Sphinx! The spectacular sunsets over the pyramids make for excellent photo opportunities with the added bonus of a free seat on the terrace for the sound & light show! Samy, the owner, is very friendly & accommodating & will help with any requests you may have. Nothing is too much trouble & his local knowledge is invaluable. The Inn is very clean & tidy with plenty of drinks available. There's air-conditioning in the rooms & free wifi for internet access too. For an Egyptian experience you won't forget I can highly recommend this place.

The Pyramids and Sphinx were right on my face! The Great Sphinx in the front middle, the Pyramids of Menkaure, Khafre and Khufu at the back from left to right, at an even distance to each other, from an angle not too high, not too low, not too left, not too right, just right! Haha. I had their company day and night with no restriction of opening hours, as closest as possible cause the hotel was right outside the Sphinx gate! Not even paying a fortune at Mena House would get you Pyramids like this. Plus, watching sound & light show from the roof top, for free! For all this while enjoying the comfort like a private apartment, very nice living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, all included and well equipped with drinks, towels, exc, and internet. The owner Samy is awesome, he can make deals on everything. He even introduced me to his friends as well as helping out over the phone with Arabic translations when I needed immediate assistance. The downstairs bazaar owner Frank is very nice and knowledgeable with all kinds of souvenir you can shop around if needed or just have a tea and chat, no hassle at all. And some friendly guys working for them always willing to help whenever you need help on apartment or shopping, or arranging other trips in town... It's more like a self service in your own apartment in this hotel but its all clean and well arranged. You might want to go to the back room for actual sleep if you're easily awaken by street noise. Some, not many, horse tours from other stables to see pyramids at sunrise in the desert, but sounds like Middle Age time, a kind of interesting though... If you love pyramids this is definitely a hotel location worth checking out.

What a great place to stay if you want to experience the true flavours of this awesome location. Samy is a great host and nothing is to much trouble for him to organise for you. Whether its a sunset camel ride in the desert at the back of the Pyramids or dinner in a good local restaurant Samy will fix it for you. The bedrooms are very comfortable....air con all round and wifi available with a sunset view to die for on the roof terrace !!!....Nothing like skyping your mates in foggy London and showing them the Sphinx at sunset in the November....Priceless.....I want to go back now !!!

Room Tip: Ask Samy for a room with a view of the Sphinx.

If you want to be first ones into the site at Pyramids stay hee. Samy was great at making us feel at home. We were picked up from airpost on time as arranged. You would never find this place on your own since there are no signs and its just up a stairway. They upgraded us to the view side with no extra charge. The rooftop patio was awesome to see the laser show for free. It is a little starge that you have to ask people in the building to let you in and out. But everyone was very nice. They give you a fridge full of bottle water and coffee and tea. The shower is very small so if you are obese you wont be able to take a shower here. Overall I would recommend it. You only need a night or two here. I do have to say the beds were the hardest I have stayed on. Lots of street noise. BEWARE If you talk to anyone on the street they will expect money from you.. But sunsets from the rooftop are priceless!
