1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

The noisiest hotel I have ever endured. The roof bar blares out awful music until the small hours every night. Even after requests to turn it down it continued. Terrible!!!! The rooms are dirty and the noise made is beyond anti-social. Awful experience.

Room Tip: For a more peaceful sleep I would move to a hotel 5kn away where the noise from the roof bar cannot...

I stayed in this hotel for twenty four hours.I went with my family to spend a day in this area as it is close to the sixth of october city. Rooms cleanliness was average. It's not a even a four star hotel. price of the room is reasonable.

Was planning a couple of nights stay at this hotel, but checked out the next day as it was too unclean. Wake up in the morning to find out that there was 'No' water at all to shower or wash and they were not bothered to help! Breakfast was okay for a 2 star hotel.

The Oasis hotel at the address above must be a different Oasis than the Oasis mentioned in the previous reviews. It is in Heliopolis, near the Airport, but a good 20 minutes from downtown Cairo and on the other side of town from the pyramids. It is a pretty basic hotel on a quiet residential street, but has no swimming pool or spa. It does have an interesting restaurant, (eggplant in garlic turned out to be small eggplants stuffed with garlic and peppers) although breakfast was the most meager of our 1 month stay in Egypt. Cleanliness is not the highest priority either, but it really was inexpensive, and just about what you would expect at the price.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2010

We stayed here as part of a package. Nice grounds & pool. But rooms musty, AC weak, hot water kept quitting until maintenance came twice and bled air out of the pipes. Biggest complaint was that during dinner on the patio restaurant they fogged and smoked the entire grounds while we ate. It was nauseating. No response about this from waiter or site manager until we refused to pay the check and had to go meet with the overall manager. To his credit he comped the check, but it was common sense not to spray insecticide on dining people. Generally they run a racket there, you arent allowed to get a taxi (have to use their car service which costs twice as much and had broken AC to boot). Internet is expensive. You can walk nowhere since it is on a highway, so they have you captive. It is close to the pyramids. Good breakfast. Bad service.
