“Worth the stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

The Egyptian Night Hotel is in a great location opposite the Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo. For the price you pay it's great value for money. Not only are the staff friendly, but also very helpful in assisting me in making travel arrangements and tours throughout Egypt. All of their contacts are very friendly and trustworthy! I had a lovely stay at the Egyptian Night Hotel with no complaints.

I would recommend the Egyptian Night Hotel to anybody taking a trip to Cairo as it is clean, has a friendly atmosphere, and is great value for money!

Room Tip: All rooms are practically the same.

“Decent place to stay for a short time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

Stayde just for one day. The room was okay, clean beds. The location was great, but of course there was lots of noises from the streets. We had a free pick up from the airport and the driver was really friendly. Staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful too. Taxi to Giza was a bit overprised and tour that this driver recommended was reeeaaally expensive (600LE for two!) Hardly bargaining we got the price down.

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Workes here are very friendly. Although I emailed them at the same day from my arrival, they kindly picked me up at the airport without any problem !! The hotel is well cleaned.

“Flexible Pricing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

The elevator was out and I had to hiked up 5 flights above ground entry level for they sounded great with free airport pickup. Then they would not honor their price on HostelBookers even if I sat there and went on line and put a deposit down. They would not open e-mail to give it to me the quoted price still.

So typical of all of Egypt being cheaters, for a lousy buck or two, and went to Wake Up Cairo instead. Their culture has no shame on ripping off travelers and you have to cuss them out. Then they say "No Problem" and give you the local price.

It does get tiring all day long being touted so I never bought anything or never got into a taxi and never used a guide. iInstead I always looked down so I wouldn't give them the finger didn't stimulate their economy.

“Wonderful people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

Location is as great as those working at the hostel. The people working here are young, very warm, friendly, and helpful. They made the stay a pleasure with the want to return.
The place itself is quite decent, has a comfortable common area, internet is available (although at times were down), the room is air-conditioned and clean, The shower is a bit small but for a hostel the ensuite bathroom overall is good.
The hostel is located across Cairo museum, minutes to tour agencies and banks, and within 10 minutes walk along the nile for lovely photo taking. Despite its location in a very busy area, my sleep was deep and restful.
The reviews were great which encouraged me to book. I am glad I did. The service made the big difference. I will definitely return.

Room Tip: Linen change, room cleaning can be made upon request. Food can be ordered until late night and put...
