My Wife and I stayed here for our tour of cario adn then again for one night after out Nile cruise. Our driver pulled right up front and our tour manager checked us in. the front desk staff excourted us to our room ( refused a tip), then the doorbell rang and it was our butler with a welcome drink adn right behind him our bags. he went over the room ammenities as well as the hotels. He brought us complimentary cappucinos every morning. the room was plush, robes and slippers, bath oils and salts, complimentary waters, chandalier, all lights on dimmers, comfy bed with big soft pillows, music for the bathroom with separt volume, candles for the tub, high end toiletry products, big screen TV, balcony, and the list goes on and on...

Room Tip: Try not to get a room directly facing the main road because it could get noisy, the room seemed to b...

Nothing much to look at from the outside, but the Kempinski Nile Hotel offers a great oasis of calm and great service. Huge rooms, great service and good food, and a roof top pool.

Very good

My father and I just got home from Egypt, where we spent three days in the Sinai and four days in Cairo. In Cairo we stayed at the Kempinski, which is easily the nicest, most luxurious, most accommodating hotel either of us has ever stayed at. It is only a year or so old, and we hope that they keep up the quality. We also find ourselves wondering if every Kempinski is as excellent as this one. The moment we arrived a guest relations person gave us a tour of the hotel, and when we arrived at our 65 square meter suite, which only cost $206 a night (prices our down because tourism is down right now) our butler offered us a complimentary refreshing blended fruit drink, explained everything in our room, and told us about how we could order free coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, etc. from to be delivered to our room whenever we wished. The concierge was also great! He organized a flight from Cairo to Tel Aviv for us, something that is not easy to do at this moment in history (you can't buy tickets online or by phone directly with the airlines). Our one minor complaint is that the tour guide he set us up with for the pyramids, etc. could recite facts about ancient Egypt but could not carry on a conversation with us in English. But, seriously, overall, the service and attention from the staff makes one feel like a 19th-century aristocrat; we found ourselves laughing at the surreality of it all, being in this aristocratic setting just a short walk from Tahrir square.

This was out first time at a Kempinski hotel and it was a wonderful experience. Everybody from the bellman to the staff at the bar were extremely nice and helpful. The service was fabulous, the rooms impeccable. The breakfast buffett is really good. We stayed for 2 night before going on our Nile cruise and the decided to spend 2 more nights at the end of our trip and everybody at the hotel was welcoming us back. I saw other reviews complaining about noise. We were on floor 6 and 7 with balcony to Nile and noise was not an issue. I totally recomend this hotel.

The service in the Nile Kampinski is excellent, very attentive and well trained staff. The room are beautiful with great attention to detail with FREE wifi, chocolates and macaroons on arrival; however I’m disappointed we didn’t get them on our second return to the hotel. The breakfast staff are attentive and the food suitable for the Middle East. The stay was excellent even though tarnished buy an incident where a member of the room staff had stolen some cash, a few notes had been removed from the safe when left open when the room was empty. The security staffs did what they could and were extremely embarrassed with the situation.

Room Tip: ask for a Nile view

Situated along the Nile in a quiet kocation away but not far from the very busy Liberty Square and museum areas, around 20 min walk. I reckoned many hotels in Cairo are rather old but kempinski is well maintained, clean and with verynproper hotel service that you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Room service was prompt with a kind of butler service. I love the breakfast as unlike other major hotel chains with heavy greasy choices, they serve light but plentiful breakfast with style, and a special cheese corner too. Only negative comment is that they do not have a sports bar and I asked a few staff they all seemed do not understand what is a sports bar. They showed me Jazz bar, Cigar bar and even outdoor shisha bar all were quite empty. Luckily I did not miss the soccer match as they have many sports channels shown in the room TV. Room is not very clean and proper, inside view isn't impressive at all but river view shold be fine.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and i highly recommend this to anyone who is planning to visit Cairo. My room is sparkling clean and the view of Nile is breathtaking. You will enjoy sunset with Nile in front of you just at your own balcony!

I particularly enjoyed the in room cinema. Definitely the best selection of entertainment that i ever experience in a 5 stars hotel. If you are a movie buff, you will enjoy watching your fav movies over and over again. Wifi is excellent!

Room service is excellent! My butler Hassan is very professional and I could not ask for more. Some might find the breakfast spread is limited but for me I think it is a wise choice for the hotel to serve "just nice" amount of food. You know how much people can eat and most of the food will eventually wasted. The quality of the food is excellent and dont forget to try their in house yogurt and smoothies. Delicious!

For my activities, i hired a rental car from the hotel with a reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the service that they have rendered especially the driver that they assigned to me; Sameh who is not only served as a driver but a tourist guide and a bodyguard! His knowledge about Cairo and the historical places is very good. I highly recommend any of you to take this service rather than taking the normal taxi.

Location wise, if you want to have a nice view of Nile, this is perfect. But other than that, that's it. They are no restaurants or shops that are walking distance from the hotel. Nothing to do with the Hotel though, they can always arrange it for you. But in case you want to explore Cairo at night by walking, the location might not be the best for you. For this particular purpose, you might want to consider Zamalek area.

Overall, i was very satisfied with the Hotel. A bit pricey but ii dont mind paying as long as they are worth it.

Room Tip: Get the highest level as possible facing the Nile
