“Yes you must go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2015 NEW

Go for the history, go for the cultural interest, go for the wonderful tea and shish. But most of all go for the total experience which is truly unique.

“Best Attraction in Khan El Khalili Cairo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2015

The place is very good and comfortable.
Shisha flavor is so good.

The price is very high compared with any other shops in Cairo.
The normal Shisha in Cairo (non tourism areas) is 1 EGP which is less than 0.2 USD

“LOVE LOVE LOVE FISHAWIS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2015

Its a landmark and should have its own world heritage listing i think.
People flock here from all over the world to soak up the ambience and take a mint tea or egyptian coffee. The coffee with cardomom is divine . some people take double apple shisha here . Lots of interesting things to look at . The place is elbow to elbow, the service is unglamorous the chairs a bit wobbly and mirrors undusted , but who cares the atmosphere is wonderful and unique...I love Fishawis .

“Oldest coffehouse in Cairo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2015

Tucked down a small alley, is the oldest coffeehouse in Cairo. What a great place to grab a drink and smoke some Hookah. The atmosphere is also very welcoming even to foreigners. Unfortunately there are some locals that will try to sell you junk while your soaking in the experience but don't let that stop you!

“Historical Cafe OF Old Cairo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2015

Apart from The excellent service presented and wonderful atmosphere inside which reflects the history of old cairo, it is one of the most famous historical landmark in cairo also it is gathering for all Egyptian artists , poets ,intellectuals and writers including Naguib Mahfouz the nobel prize winner the distinguished Egyptian novelist .
Also the prices are good and reasonable (Coffee or Tea or any other Juices) about 7-10 L.E, the café style is very classic which is similar to cairo in 1900's , I got very nice time there and I recommend it for Cairo visitors who are interested in classic Egypt lifestyle culture.
