Nice looking. Friendly staff. Good service. Average food. It is a lebaniez restaurant with an egyption chief.

“Hot and cold mezzas wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

Just the best Arabic starters we have ever tasted - just wow
We stuffed out. Staff were very attentive and full of typical Egyptian humour - jokes!!!!
Lovely place for an evening meal - if there are two of you sit at a 4 seat table - you can use the other table for all the mezzas :-)

“High End Egyptian Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

If your a westerner looking for some authentic but clean local Egyptian cuisine then Sabaya is it. It's a beautiful restaurant right next door to the equally lovely Birdcage. The atmosphere it tranquil an the waiters attentive an friendly an it's a refreshing change from the hustle an bustle. Most importantly though it the food which was to die for. Amazing flavours and divine presentation and all at a reasonably cost of under 1000le.

“Warm & friendly and delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was probably the most delicious food I had in Cairo. Also they started with fresh vegetables which tasted like they were grown in the back-yard of someone whose passion it is to carefully grow vegetables in his green yard, delicious. Also the staff was really nice and friendly and offered us great service. I will definitely go back to Sabaya when I go back to Cairo.
