I loved this hotel. It was well located for what I needed. Service is perfect and the staff is really nice... Everybody made my stay very peasant.

The only thing I didn't like is that services such Internet and breakfast are really really expensive. In fact, I am a Marriott silver member and everywhere else the Internet service is free but here.

Stayed here twice in 4Q12...rooms are extended stay layouts...super clean, modern, etc...breakfast is great, nice gym, 2 solid restaurants in the basement of the building. Only draw backs: night life is limited...not much of a bar on premise. But overall love this place very relaxing stay while in Seoul. Stayed at JW, Grand Hyatt and I prefer the slower more relaxed stay at the Marriott

2 words: SIMPLY AMAZING. This was my 1st trip to Seoul, and the MEA (Marriott Exec Apts) performed 5/5. No major issues during my week-long stay. I was very impressed, and left me longing, almost wishing I could stay longer!

PROS:
- great location for biz travelers, in the heart of the Yeoido biz district.
- very near the Yeoido line 5 subway. Subway gets you anywhere and everywhere. From Yeoido station, it'll just take you 40mins/8 stops to get to the heart of Seoul city.
- AMAZING staff... speak very good English and really pamper you. They helped me book a tour to the DMZ and did not disappoint thruout my stay.
- AMAZING room... rooms are spacious, have every single necessity you need, very comfy beds and homely feel (with wooden floors and high ceiling).
- LOVE the showers... especially the rain shower with great water pressure. Wonderful to turn the heat up during a cold winter day.
- Food is great - check out Park Cafe (hotel restaurant). A little pricey but service is attentive and food is yummy. I actually preferred eating here for dinners vs going outside in the 0C cold.
- I love the personal service... the hotel staff called me on a few occasions just to ask if everything was OK. How thoughtful.

CONS:
- rooms are very pricey... then again, it is Seoul. Cost of living here is high.
- like another reviewer said, MEA rips you off for everything.. from Net access to stuff from the bar. C'mon MEA, you can very well charge less and still make a profit.
- lots of cabs cannot find this place by name... I had to write down the address in Korean (or take a hotel card w/Korean address).

Overall, I would stay here again anytime. Perfect for a week biz stay, and easy commute to the city center / cabs will take 30mins or roughly ~15USD one way. Not bad at all.

Aa a full-time business traveler I've seen it all --- the good, bad and ugly. The MEA is almost perfect. They offer excellent customer service, very friendly and polite front desk personal and prompt rely to special needs. The apartment is ideal for my wife and I. There's plenty of storage space, the washer/drier brings tears to my eyes after years of washing underwear in the sink, the kitchen is fully equipped, the apartment is spacious and well-decorated... the list goes on and on. Plus, MEA has a health spa and fitness center that rivals the best hotels in Las Vegas. My massage was among the top 10 ever. OK, so what's my gripe? I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium hotel, but it drives me crazy when I am gouged for the extras. How could a hotel of this caliber charge 100,000 won/week for Internet. Really??? A draft beer at the pub cost $15! I bought the exact same beer at the convenience store in the hotel for $3.50. A mediocre glass of wine at dinner: $14.00. Dear MEA Management, your hotel attracts seasoned business travelers. Please do not insult them with ridiculous prices! Instead of having a beer at the pub I have walked to the wonderful E-Mart down the street. Wake up and smell the coffee (BTW, a packet of Illy Coffee in the apartment kitchen will set you back $20! Really????). Please take a look at your pricing strategy. You're forcing customers to wonder what other ways you are trying to get into their knickers. I love this hotel and I plan to return again, but I will avoid the in-room supplies and the restaurants because of the excessive costs. Really.
