“Wonderful rooms. Ok district”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Service was excellent given that we had no reservations and were checking in on the spot. Rooms were luxuriously large and very well finished. district was a little grity and industrial but safe. a short 15 min walk to either dongdaemun or myeondong.

We stayed at room for 3 persons. But it was a little bit small for 3 persons and an infant. It's the only minus. Room was clean and well equipped. Great breakfast: local food and other. Concierges were very helpful.

In general, the Best Western chain doesn't have the best reputation. This one is independently owned and it was really nice.
It was a business trip. The rooms are comfortable and even if small, arranged nicely. Internet works relatively well and everything was ok. It was a little loud outside and I really did not like that there was no distinction between smoking and non-smoking rooms. But other than that the hotel was perfect for business. Stayed there for about 6 nights.
It was really well located for my business but also close to other things to move around relatively easily.
The restaurant is certainly not the best but more than enough for breakfast everyday. The rest (room service) was ok only.
Compared to very expensive places in Seoul this was a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Maybe ask if the policies change and maybe they have smoking / non smoking rooms?

Ask the concierge whatever you wish and he will try to help you by making appropriate calls and looking for the best solution. We missed a bit milk in the refrigerator (there is only creamer available for your coffee), but maybe in Asia coffee with milk is not that popular. The hotel is near historic buildings in Seoul, and it suited us. A huge minus - in winter air conditioning is not working and heating is set to 25 deg. C, which is very uncomfortable. We could not sleep well even though we opened windows and hotel staff provided a fan. Something funny about the hotel: it does not have 4th and 13th floor., since these are unlucky numbers in Asia and Europe/Americas... :)

Room Tip: Just do not travel to Korea in winter if you don't have to... we heard that every single hotel h...

The hotel was very clean. We were put up in the 20th floor. and we felt safe, clean, and warm, even in the winter!

Our little understanding of the Korean language was not a deterrent.

Alas, the hotel is located in a non-tourist area. Nevertheless we did`t feel uneasy among the thousands of hardware and construction provider shops! The subway is a hundred yards to the right of the hotel, and the Airport Bus stops right in front of it! Loved this!

Room Tip: take the Seoul City Tour...great value

I stayed on 20th floor with good city view (highest is 21 floor). Room nice and look large with white color. What i love most is large mirror and thick curtain that won't let the light come in.

Hotel is clean and cozy enough for tourist traveler or couples.

Room Tip: HIgh Floor possible.

Good location with only 5 minutes away walk from the subway station. Very close to the popular shopping street, Myeong Dong and is only 5 minutes drive to Namsan Tower.
We were assign rooms on the lady's floor since there were 4 of us ladies traveling. This is indeed a surprise for us but we were very happy with such assignment.
The room is spacious and it is equipped with amenities that is suitable for ladies. Even the bathrobe were pink and is very feminine.
Definitely a recommended place in Seoul especially for the ladies.
