“Great room, great gym, great pool and sublime food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2011

Fantastic hotel a short walk from the Coex Conference Centre and shopping mall.

Probably one of the best hotel rooms I have ever had. Huge wet room and very comfortable beds. Ultra - modern and very comfortable. I had requested a quiet room and it was very quiet as it was away from the roads.

Heated toliet seat! What is that all about?

When my taxi arrived from the airport I was greeted by name - how did they know it was me?

Slick check in.

The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner although very expensive but then everything seems to be expensive in Seoul. The Waygu beef from the grill was quite delicious.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the quiet side

The room was amazing, the size of a small apartment. Service was great, they even sent me in a complimentary cab to the city airport bus center and sold me a bus ticket at the front desk. The pool in the lobby -- floor to ceiling windows on the 24th floor -- is spectacular. One of the best appointed hotel rooms I have ever seen.

Really can't tell this hotel is more than 5 yrs old, room/public space are both well kept. As most people mentioned the design of the rooms is great! Love the big windows and they are CLEAN! However, the rooms facing the big cross streets are not very quiet. And the AC really bothered me when I was in bed, it blows right to you. Service at the Corner Stone (whole day dining) and the lounge on 24th floor are great. Didn't try the lounge in the basement of the hotel, because it was very smoky when we went there. Gotta love the rain shower!

Location is not the best, since it's about 30 min to downtown. Hire the hotel cars from the airport, it comes with great wifi connection!

you pay top dollar for the hotel that is not centrally located--aside from the coex mall...however, the room is absolutely stunning. breathtaking view of the Buddhist Temple and street scene. Breakfasts are amazing. Only thing: rooms are noisy from streets.

this is a hotel one can get excited from both the internal and external surroundings . "the glass box" is well located (across from Coex) and offers a stunning view of the wide boulevard in front. It also allows people in the area a full view of the beautiful interior of the guest rooms and their bathrooms. Most hotel staffs speak fluent nlis and are well trained to provide excellent service o their guests. It has a sleek indoor pool and gym which blend in with their glass enclosed surrounding. The only handicapis the limited choice of restaurants in the hotel but the neighborhood offers a ful array of eateries within walking distance.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms facing the boulevard.

A beautifully designed hotel, perhaps a little over designed in places - where function seems to follow form - but wonderful service and no complaints (other than the lack of an atmospheric bar on the top floor to take in the view!).
However, if you're in Seoul for only a few day for sightseeing, than you are better staying at the Grand Hyatt which is closer to the main tourist sites, which has an fantastic view across Seoul, and where you can avoid the heavy traffic.

Spacious rooms, good service and conveniently located, I highly recommend this hotel for business or personal travel. Rooms vary greatly from floor to floor so don't be afraid to ask to change if you don't like your room (I asked to be moved and my 2nd room was FAR superior to my first). Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant offer good Western food options.
