I chose this hotel as it's of low price and proximity to subway station. The room is nice, with kitchen (with all eating and cooking utensils), big wardrode and spacious desks. The bathroom is good, except it's without bathtub. Everything's the same as their website described. The cable TV there offered a good variety of programmes, including English and even Chinese programmes (movies/dramas). It makes me feel like staying at home. Staff are helpful and can speak English.

I booked this place for 5 nights through the internet and regretted it the first moment I entered the room. Nice slick images and description of the facilities on the booking site homepage were obviously misleading. Rooms turned to be tiny and new furniture - of cheap poor quality. I had to change the room in the middle of the night as the bed was so badly assembled that it shacked and squeaked with every slight move, even a staff engineer could not fix it when tried on the spot. The toilet/shower was more of a kind suitable for backpacker dormitories, not a place advertised as a 3 star hotel (although the price was genuine 3 star). The location is very noisy due to heavy traffic around but no sound insulation was in place. Furthermore, with air condition equipment visible but NOT functioning (just for pictures, probably!) – opening a window was not a good option. I moved out to another hotel early next morning. IMPORTANT NOTE - the staff was quite understanding and sympathetic.

Spent 6 days at the Uljiro a very conveniently located business short term residence hotel. Staff spoke good english and were efficient. Your room is like a tiny apartment they are very very clean and new. You get a tiny glass shower and toilet. sleeping area with business centre and a little kitchen with microwave, fridge, stove,
storage dishes pans etc we shopped at wonderful markets and the whole week only cost us around $27 for simple rice meals and fruit and patries.

You cannot buy early breakfast out as Seoul does not wake up till around 11am so makeing our own gave us a good long day for our sightseeing.

They have washers and dryers and iron for guests.

It may be tiny but it was a good value we were on a seven week trip to India so it fitted the bill
