“Clean and walking distance to subway station”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

I have to say the room is very clean, equipped with a proper kitchen and walk-in wardrobe, similar concept to a studio apartment. There is a washing machine available but everything was in Korean so you would need help to operate it.
Did not have their breakfast so I can't comment on that however we did try to have coffee / tea around 9:30 am but was told "no".
The staff speaks very basic English but good enough to understand our needs and wants.
There is a nice Shabu Shabu restaurant on the ground level of the building which is really good if you are too lazy to go further for a meal. Within five minutes walk from the apartment, there are some eateries on the way to the subway and a coffee place plus 7-Eleven.
There is no porter service available so you have to carry your own luggage.
Overall its a nice unit, easy access to the subway station, eateries and convenient stores.

This apartment/Residence is quite new so taxi drivers may not be familiar with it. Be sure to take their hotel business card with you!

Good location for us as its not sat in the middle of busy streets, you will appreciate the location once you hit Myeongdong shopping! Very easy to find if travelling on the Underground, 7mins walk from Dapsimni Station (purple line).
There is a coffee shop downstairs which is a plus if you love coffee like I do!

The area seems a little stranded but walk past Dapsimni station (5mins) and the street will light up again, full of cafes. local eats, market, supermarket etc.

We were located on the 11th floor. The double bed apartment was adequate. There is a walk-in wardrobe to store luggage and clothes, massive amount of drawers, cupboards, shelves.
There wasn't a sofa and coffee table (it was shown in the hotel pictures) which was a slight disappointment.

The kitchen area is amazing, they supply bowls, plates, cutlery etc. Washing machine is in Korean but if you're familiar with the pictures its not hard to work out!
Underfloor heating, air con, slippers were provided, video linked to door bell (monitor switches on and shows you who is outside!) fridge freezer.
Bed can be quite hard depending on personal preference.

The room was tidied everyday, towels were changed but the sheets were changed every 3 days, they explain this to you at check in.

Soundproof rooms but you can hear the odd noises coming from outside your room!

Overall, a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!
The staff there are friendly, check in was quick and easy.

Room Tip: Maybe better to ask for river view rather than city view.

Stayed for 3 nights here just last week.
Reception staffs are not friendly and don't speak much English.
Breakfast is included and it's terrible.Food is very lousy. Lucky Holly Cafe is just nearby.
Rooms are clean and very functional (you can refer to hotel photos)
The washing machine comes with dryer as well. But you need the hotel staffs to give you instructions. Do bring your own washing powder. Towel provided are just 2 face towel. So if you need more, do request from reception early as it can run out if you are late. If you are used to those bigger bath towel, pls bring your own. The bed is on the hard side. Tooth brush not provided.
Around this hotel, there's a few fried chicken shop where you can eat fried chicken and drink some beer. CF store (like 7-11) is around the corner too.
Many taxi driver do not know of this hotel. When taking cab back from Dongdaemum is a problem. If you run into a more polite cab driver, he is willing to call the hotel for directions, else they won't want to take you. Distance is around 20 mins to Dongdaemum and cost around 6000 won before midnight charge.

As I join a group tour, so I didn't get a chance to explore where the subway station is.

Hope that my review is useful to you ;)

Location - A bit far from the city, nearest subway station - Dapsimni or Sindap (both abt 5mins walk) and around 20mins to Dongdaemun / Myeondong area for night market. No other notable building around the vicinity. It's more like a residential suburb to me.

Apartment condition - Very new, considered fully furnished as it comes with kitchen and washing machine. No other facilities such as swimming pool, gym etc. The bed was very uncomfortable, worse than normal 3 stars bed. The in-room floor heating was pretty impressive though, but a bit hard to control the temperature as it gets hotter than you think. Washing machine is in Korean, hard to navigate but you can get the instruction list from reception. They have prepared a simple English version.

Reception - Speaks little English but can understand simple words. Get a name card from them in case you are lost or subway close, show it to the taxi driver to get you home.

Breakfast - Worst breakfast ever, only few choices, stayed 3 days and everyday the same breakfast.

Not sure how much is the hotel cost, as I went in tour, probably not that expensive. Overall, if you are concern of sleeping quality and breakfast, this is not for you.

Basically it was a newly furnished service apartment. The room was small but comfortable. There was in-room kitchen and washing machine. Unfortunately my friend and I went to Seoul for leisure so we expected more. The location was away from the main tourist districts so it took about 15 to 20 mins by subway for getting the main shopping areas. Not much restaurants around the hotel except one cafe, so we ended up having breakfast there everyday. The staff was rather unfriendly and unhelpful. We were not satisfied with their service at all.

I don't think I will stay there again.

Pro -

The hotel seems a little small but its packed with all the necessary amenities, floor heating, air condition, water heater, huge fridge, walk in wardrobe, washing machine & and stove with cooking utensils. Definitely a great place to stay in if you are those traveler that prefers to be back at the hotel early during your trips.

The hotel in nearby a few nice eateries and a street away from their wet market and a park.

Con -

The hotel lacks any other entertainment facilities such as gym, pool or spa. the breakfast is pretty bad too. the train station is a 5 min walk away and not exactly near to any central shopping district or places of interest.

This place is a residence-apartment mix use, located in an area that's not suitable if you are on a tight schedule,it's a decent city accommodation but locationwise, there are better place, and the area is intimidating at night. B'fast is like in a military barrack, but for quick-on-the-go type person, should be so-so,there are plenty cafes along the street
