“Excellent location, clean room, recommended!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

Very very near to the myeongdong subway (2-3mins walk), and the shopping belt is just across e road! Dont have to worry to catch e last train as u can just walk back to hotel. Also 24-hr marts in e vicinity. Strongly recommended, value for money accommodation.

This is just perfect if you want to shop in myeongdong. Just cross the street and viola! You are there in the midst of all the craziness of the beauty boutiques and luxury clothing.
Korea is famous for beauty products, and the price is actually very affordable. Most promo-sales-girl will hand you free samples if you enter their shops. No pressure really. Because chances are, you will buy something somehow. Its really fun!

TIP : ask for vat receipt. They are refundable at the airport

As i said , Prince hotel is perfect for this shopping itinerary. Hotel has free wifi. But they dont have toiletries provided like shampoo , toothbrush, razor, etc. not even slippers!

Receptionists can speak english BUT forget asking them for directions! They dont know anything!

Central location to train station/airport bus, shopping, and food. Near shops such as 7-11, cafe, bakeries, and Korean eateries. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean, and good condition. Enjoyed stay. Highly recommended.

Airport bus (6015 and 6001) drop off at last stop Sejong Hotel just across street from hotel. Cross street at crosswalk and hotel is right there. Double A room was small and bed uncomfortable. AC not good but able to open window. No shampoo provided. No microwave but has hot pot and small refrigerator. No coffee/tea. Shower good with lots of hot water. Buffet breakfast for 14000 won with coupon from front desk. Close to all night bakery and convenient stores. Lots of eating place close by. Shopping area across street and ten minute walk to Namdaemun Market. Subway close by and shuttle to North Tower Tram next door. Lots of tour information in lobby and able to arrange tour at front desk with hotel pickup. Front desk people friendly and understand English. English signs throughout city and subway. 110 volt outlet available in room as well as free WiFi access. Avoid black colored taxi cabs.

I stayed at nine nights in this hotel in October 2012. The room was quite small but it was cleaned well everyday. The room was equiped well (water kettle, minibar, satellite Tv). There is very busy road in front of the hotel so light sleepers may have so problems. I didn't use hotel restaurant because it was easy to get breakfast from nearby cafes.

The location was fantastic. Prince Hotel was very easy to reach by airport bus nro. 6015 (buy tickets, hop on the bus at Incheon airport, exit last stop, cross the street and you are there). Myeongdong metro station is near so it very easy to travel around the city. Myeongdong are is several kilometers long neighourhood for shopping and dining. Large upscale departmentstores like Shinsegae and Lotte are also nearby.

In my opinion Prince hotel is a great choice for active travellers who does not need a big lobby, extra services, a pool or a gym. I didn't spend much time in the hotel during daytime in my holiday because there was so much to do and see in Seoul. For me it was good value for money!

Room Tip: Ask no smoking and upper level room!

Very close to airport bus stop (Sejong Hotel), subway line 4, and shopping in Myeongdong. The hotel staff was nice and even offered us umbrellas one day when we were about to head out. We stayed in a Double B room and thought it was okay for 2 people. Other reviewers said that the rooms were small. However, the room was big enough for us to spread our suitcases on the floor and also work on the desk in the room. The room was not big, but enough to be comfortable; nice and clean and comfy bed.

Stayed here for 8 days and no doubt its the most convenient hotel we've ever stayed. The room is not big but its clean & spacious enough to move around. Ours was a queen size bed and its comfy. They provide kettle & mug but no coffee / tea. Rooms don't come with breakfast but front desk will give you a discount voucher which will cost 14000won ($14). If you choose not to have the breakfast, there are 2 bakeries (Tous le Jour and Paris Baguette) and a Coffee Bean across the street. Wifi is free even in the rooms and toilet is in excellent condition. The airport bus shuttle no.6015 is just 8min away across the street (in front of Sejong Hotel),the underground subway is 3min away (located on both left & right of the hotel) but the best part of the hotel is it's located right across the Myeongdong Shopping Area. Ladies will go wild and men can indulge on food & beverages. Lotte Shopping Mall and Shinsegae Mall is also located nearby (10min walk) and N Seoul Tower can be seen behind the hotel although you might want to take a cable car instead of walking all the way up. Be warn, Seoul has many stairs and steep walkway. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan on walking / sightseeing.

Room Tip: For non-smokers, don't forget to request for a non-smoking room.
